Our Home
Flowerpots Childcare is in a wonderful new building, which has an abundance of natural light and has been custom fitted for us ensuring that we have a great nursery environment.
We are particularly proud of our large garden, which has free-flow access from both our classrooms. We have a good security entry system & policy along with CCTV cameras for everyone’s safety and security. We also have many dedicated parking spaces and good disabled access.
Budding Bluebells – Our Baby Room
Welcoming babies from three months to two years old, Budding Bluebells provides a wonderful home from home environment for your wee bundle of joy. With its own sleep room, sensory and messy areas, the children in Budding Bluebells have a great work, rest and play setting. The staff are all very experienced giving you great peace of mind.
Following the pre-birth to three curriculum, we care for up to twenty three babies in the room. Our staffing ratio is one member of staff to three babies and we aim to work with an additional staff member as often as we can.
Tumbling Tulips – Our Toddlers Room
Our babies move through to our Tumbling Tulips room when they turn two. This room is where they learn to master walking, babbling and are learning and becoming quite independent. Forming character and friendships, our Tulips are into everything! The pre-birth to three curriculum carries on in Tulips and the staff ensure the transitions between rooms are as seamless as possible.
We cater for up to twenty toddlers and our staffing ratio is one to five children. Again we aim to work with an additional staff member as often as we can.
Sunny Sunflowers – Our Pre-Schoolers Room
Joining Sunny Sunflowers is such fun, there is just so much to do, see and explore in the classroom, which has been designed to give children free choice, lots of plays zones and snugly quiet corners. We follow the curriculum for excellence for our three to fives. Our engagement with the children helps develop social skills, encourage independence and teaches them how to take measured risks.
The focus is on learning through play and setting the foundation for a life-long love of learning. In Sunflowers, our staffing ratio is one member of staff to eight children and we work with at least one additional team member most of the time.
